Hostigma, Inc. (“Hostigma,” “we,” “us”) operates https://www.hostigma.com. We are a Canadian corporation, Corporations Canada number 1669872-7, with a principal place of business in Toronto, Canada.

What this policy covers
Today Hostigma is a pre-launch website. You can read about the product, join early access, send a message, and — if you choose — sign in with Google. Domain search and registration are not live. When those services open, we will update this policy before we collect registration or billing data that this page does not already describe.
Using the site means you have read this policy. The terms of use cover the contract. This page covers personal information.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need for the feature you use.
- Early access. Name, email address, and optional notes about a domain you searched. We also record how you reached the form (for example, from Pricing) so we can improve the site.
- Contact form. Name, email, and the message you send. We use that to reply.
- Sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive the account identifiers Google shares with us — typically name, email address, and a unique Google user id. We do not receive your Google password.
- Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these to keep the site up, debug errors, and limit abuse.
We do not sell personal information. We do not buy marketing lists to populate early access.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- Confirm an early-access signup and email you about launch and related perks
- Answer contact requests
- Create and maintain a signed-in session
- Protect the site from spam, fraud, and misuse
- Understand which pages lead people to early access, in aggregate
- Meet legal and accounting duties we cannot avoid
We rely on the purposes you would reasonably expect when you submit a form or sign in, and on our legitimate need to operate a secure website. Where Canadian law requires consent, we ask for it at the point of collection.
Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies and similar storage that are required for the site to work: keeping you signed in, remembering display preferences such as light or dark theme, and protecting forms from automated abuse. These are first-party, functional cookies. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site today.
You can block cookies in your browser. If you do, sign-in and some preferences may not work.
Service providers
We use trusted companies to host this website, send email, operate Google sign-in, and process contact and early-access requests. They may store or see personal information only to provide that work for us, under contracts that limit other uses.
Google’s handling of sign-in data is also described in Google’s own privacy policy. We do not control Google’s independent services.
How long we keep it
Early-access and contact records stay until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for launch, support, or a legal retention duty — whichever is longer. Session cookies expire when the session ends or after a fixed idle period. Server logs are kept only as long as we need them for security and operations.
Your rights
Hostigma is based in Canada. We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any applicable provincial rules. Depending on your situation, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we have personal information about you
- Access that information
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent, subject to legal limits
- Delete information we no longer need to keep
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify who you are before we act. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is for people who can form a contract for domain and related services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted a form, email [email protected] and we will delete the record.
International transfers
We are in Canada. Some service providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States (for example, Google sign-in). Those countries may have different privacy laws. We still remain responsible for personal information we transfer.
Changes
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material — for example, because domain registration has launched — we will say so more clearly on the site or by email if we have your address.
